Terms and Conditions

Effective July 29, 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms govern your use of the Broccolicious free beta, including its mobile app, website, recipe-import tools, recipe library, cooking features, and shopping list.

1. Who we are

Broccolicious is operated by Z. Galili, trading as Broccolicious, based in the Netherlands. References to “Broccolicious”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean this operator.

Contact us at support@broccolicious.app.

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account or using Broccolicious after these Terms are presented to you, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

These Terms apply to the current free beta. Paid features are not covered and will require updated terms before they become available.

3. Age and guardian-managed use

You must be at least 13 years old to use Broccolicious. A user aged 13 to 15 may use the service only through an account created, accepted, and controlled by their parent or legal guardian. The guardian is responsible for supervising that use.

If you create or control an account for a younger user, you confirm that you are legally able to accept these Terms for them.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and sign-in methods, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

You may not sell, transfer, share, or create accounts in a misleading or unlawful way.

5. The free beta

Broccolicious is an evolving beta. Features, supported sources, extraction quality, availability, limits, and saved-data behavior may change as we test and improve the service. We may fix, add, remove, pause, or discontinue features.

We will take reasonable care when making material changes, but we do not promise that the beta will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.

6. Recipe links, sources, and your permission

You may submit publicly accessible recipe links and other material that you are permitted to access and use. Do not use Broccolicious to bypass paywalls, access controls, privacy settings, or other technical restrictions.

You give us a limited permission to retrieve, process, structure, translate, store, and display submitted material only as needed to provide and improve the service for you. You remain responsible for the links and material you submit.

We try to preserve the original source, platform, and creator attribution. The original website or social platform remains responsible for its content and may apply its own terms.

7. AI-generated and estimated information

Broccolicious uses automated tools and artificial intelligence to extract, translate, organize, and sometimes infer recipe information. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or different from the original source.

Nutrition values, serving sizes, timings, substitutions, tags, and inferred cooking steps may be estimates. Broccolicious is not a medical, nutritional, dietary, or professional food-safety service.

Check important details against the original source, ingredient packaging, dietary needs, allergy information, safe storage guidance, and reliable cooking-temperature guidance. Never rely on the service alone when an error could cause illness or harm.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to infringe another person’s rights;
  • submit malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
  • scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service except where law permits it;
  • misrepresent AI output as verified professional advice; or
  • use automated access in a way that creates unreasonable load or cost.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, Broccolicious, or the security and lawful operation of the service.

9. Intellectual property

We or our licensors own the Broccolicious name, branding, software, interface, original copy, and original visual assets. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.

Recipe sources, creator names, trademarks, images, and third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Broccolicious is not endorsed by the websites or social platforms from which you import recipes.

10. Feedback

If you send us feedback, corrections, or suggestions, you allow us to use them to operate and improve Broccolicious without payment or an obligation to implement them. This does not transfer ownership of material that is already yours.

11. Privacy and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and how to request account deletion. You may also delete individual saved recipes and shopping items using available product controls.

12. Third-party services

Broccolicious depends on service providers and links to third-party websites and platforms. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, products, or privacy practices. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms.

13. Warranties and liability

We provide the free beta with reasonable care and skill, but on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that every recipe will import correctly or that every output will be complete, accurate, safe, or suitable for your circumstances.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by third-party content or services, or loss caused by relying on an output without carrying out the checks described in these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, death, or personal injury where applicable.

14. Ending use

You may stop using Broccolicious at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, follow the process in the Privacy Policy.

We may end or restrict access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful use, security risk, or where operating the service is no longer reasonably possible.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer protections and rights available in your country continue to apply where they cannot be waived.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms do not prevent you from using a court, regulator, or dispute process available under applicable law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. We will update the effective date and version above and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the updated Terms are presented to you means the updated Terms apply from their effective date, to the extent permitted by law.
